What) Bethlehem is a city in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. As of the 2010 census, it had a total population of 74,982, making it the seventh largest city in Pennsylvania. There are three general sections of the city: North Bethlehem, South Bethlehem and West Bethlehem. Each of these sections blossomed at different times in the city's development and each contains areas recognized under the National Register of Historic Places. In July 2006, Money magazine placed Bethlehem as number 88 on its "Top 100 Best Places to Live." (1)

    Where) Near the intersections of Interstates 78 and 476

    Why) I was in a strange mood after leaving the Bethlehem Steel Works.  It suddenly seemed normal for me to take a number of photos from the passenger seat of our moving Jeep.  Few of these pictures have much merit but I am including most of them as a record of the sort of things my brain can suddenly think is appropriate.


























I took pictures of three different license plates and one bumper sticker but I have combined and deleted to leave you only one picture.







At the time, this sign seemed quite funny to me.







I think that I would always have wanted to take a picture of this sign but ...
