    Why) Gatlinburg is a tourist town that is full of places trying to grab your attention.  During the week we went on a number of walks.  Take a look at the things that interested my camera and my wallet.

As usual, Pam's favourite part of the walk was plant based.

... take this picture of the bee that was pollinating them.  He kept moving around and this was the best of my five attempts.

Would you believe that I have been looking for something like this magnet for the better part of 20 years?  Back when my sister Marla and I were kids, we would always check out the gift shop displays for something with her name on it but we never found anything.  I have kept up the game of looking for something since then.  Well, years of searching paid off in the Gatlinburg Magnet o World.

We did not end up eating here but I liked the design of the sign.

I couldn't resist stopping in at the Beef Jerky store though but that shouldn't surprise you.

After some browsing and sampling, I decided to buy this flavor of Turkey Jerky. 

Although we didn't eat here either, I couldn't resist taking this brochure and I still won't be going into the reasons for that.

My reasons for taking the Moonshine tour are much simpler.

I have enjoyed maraschino cherries since childhood and the combination of cherries and moonshine was too tempting to pass up. 

This statue outside of the Shoot'em Up Cinema had an animatronic routine that became more compelling every time I saw it.
