This is one of the most disturbing and gripping books I have ever read in any genre but that had more to do with my contents than the book's.

The rest of the series is really a musing on what power and responsibility should be used for.

I find it hard to believe that novels that appear so pulpy should have ...

... so many interesting ideas in them.

Perhaps the author and I think in a similar fashion.

This one created a sense of wonder and possibility in me that I don't experience often.

The back cover hints at the erotic content inside and I really enjoyed reading the book as well.

Now that I have read this book as well as it's sequels, ...

... I'm not sure I should mention the name of my favourite character because it ...

... gives away the ending and probably is not something you want to hear from me.

Chthon is Anthony's first published work but there is something about it that I like.

This series is really a sequel of sorts to the Tarot novels.

Although the first novel was decent I was only able to read 60 pages of this one on my first try.

I have read and enjoyed most of the books in this series but this is the only one I own and I have only read 200 pages of it.

The first time I started reading this one I got through 80 pages.

This sounds like I book that I should enjoy but it turned out to be a book that I barely finished.

This time I only got 50 pages in before putting it aside but I came back to it later and ended up enjoying it.

Pam did not believe me when I told her that I had finished reading and enjoying a novel with a horse as a main character.

This book was good enough to finish but not good enough to wish there was a sequel.
