What) Barnes & Noble, Incorporated is the largest book retailer in the United States. The company is known for large, upscale retail outlets, many of which contain a café serving Starbucks Coffee, and for competitive discounting of bestsellers. Most stores also sell magazines, newspapers, DVDs, graphic novels, gifts, games and music. Barnes & Noble is also known for selling the Barnes & Noble Nook, as well as various incarnations of its mascot, a teddy bear named "Barnsie". The company operates 705 stores (as of April 30, 2011) in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia in addition to 636 college bookstores, which serve more than 4.6 million students and faculty members across the country.     Why) You may have noticed that this isn't the first bookstore to make it onto the Buckys list.  You probably don't know that I rarely put them onto the list before the trip.  They are always spontaneous additions that get added at the time I see them.


























This store was upscale enough to have a security guard at the entrance so I had to steal this cover picture from Amazon instead. (2)







The guard couldn't really see me in the magazine section though so I was able to take this picture.











I also liked this display in the animal section downstairs but not enough to purchase one.  I did end up buying two or three items though.












This book seemed like the perfect Christmas gift for Pam while ...







... this one somehow made it's way onto my "Buy it if you see it" list. It was decent but I wouldn't recommend it for you.
