What) One Fort Worth man is turning his past-time of drinking into a passion for decorating. Louis Torres is blanketing the outside of his home with what we throw away every day. At a minimum, 75 strands of wire hang countless beer cans from Torres's tree to his fence to his house.

"I was just doing the straight cans and then my daughter said why don't you take a razor blade and cut them where they'll look like Christmas ornaments," Torres explained. He won't say whether or not he drank all of it, but he doesn't pay for all of it. "I have came home from work before and there would be a couple of 12 packs sitting at my gate, somebody came by just gave them to me, several times, several times," said Torres. Torres accepts donations, full or empty, with a preference for Miller Lite and Milwaukee's Best Light. (1)

    Where) 150 Currie Street

Why) I had no idea whether or not I would find this display of cans esthetically pleasing but I was sure that I wanted to leave 12 beer at Louis's gate as a way of paying to tribute to all the Buckys we have stopped at over the years.

This gives you an idea of how things started out with strings of cans.

Then Louis came up with this technique and ...

From certain angles I like the effect that strings of them create.

Thank you Louis.
