What) The 2013 Silver Spur Rodeo will take place the 8th, 9th and 10th of February at the Yuma County Fairgrounds (East 32nd Street). There will also be a rodeo parade the Saturday morning of the rodeo, starting at 15th Street and 4th Avenue running north and ending in downtown Yuma. After the rodeo, join the rodeo dances Friday and Saturday evenings at the Jaycee Clubhouse. The equestrian events begin Friday, with a 6 pm performance.

    Why) Pam has wanted to take me out dancing for a while now but for some unknown “reason” that has never happened. To convince her of the truth in that statement, I put this Buckys onto the list and let fate take care of the result.

In case you didn't work it out from the dates above, we were in Yuma for Valentines Day and this lovely card was a gift to me from Pam.

Okay, we were playing bridge while the parade was on so we did not get to see if these horses ... (1)

... were invited to return in 2013 after their performance at the parade in 2012. (1)

I never even thought of asking Pam if she wanted to attend the rodeo. I know that I would have liked that sign and ... (2)

... there is at least a chance that Pam would have enjoyed the barrel racing. (2)

When it came time to go dancing, we got dressed up and headed out the door but we ... (3)

... didn't get there because my directions were not accurate. All the internet could provide me with were these rodeo dance posters. (4)
