What #2) Lick is a unique "Vegas Style" candy shop located in several of the casinos on the Vegas strip. In addition to giant candy and vintage candy, they offer candy by the pound. Called Lick, they have an adult vibe to the store with shirts that say things like "I lick on the first date" and "I like to lick." Located in the back of the store, they have adult versions of candy that probably isn't suitable for kids but it is Las Vegas. (2)

What #3) Bigger doesn’t always mean better: Julian Serrano stretches the boundaries of small plates, loading guests’ palettes with delectable interpretations of his native Spanish fare. Relish in the comfort and familiarity of imported Spanish serrrano ham alongside a creamy cheese platter or indulge your adventurous side with savory white anchovy fillets and black pig pintxo topped with perfectly caramelized onions. The warm orange and red accents adorning the walls of Julian Serrano fuel the environment, rivaling the energy of the innovative cuisine served. (3)

Aria consists of two curved glass and steel highrise towers adjoined at the center. Among the most notable aspects of Aria is its incorporation of technology in the exterior and interior design of the hotel, specifically for the reduction of energy consumption. It is the largest hotel in the world to have earned LEED Gold certification. On account of its smart rooms which automatically adjust curtains, turn off unused lights and electronics, and regulate the temperature when a guest enters or leaves a room, Aria was described in Popular Mechanics as possibly "the most technologically advanced hotel ever built." Although the party never stops at the Ignite Lounge there was no one there when I took this picture at 11:11 am.

Um, my decision to take this picture has absolutely nothing to do with the influence of the next section.

You should assume that my primary motivation is always beauty in whatever form I find it.

Sometimes that beauty can be captured with a photograph but other times you just need to ...

... be there. That is certainly the case when experiencing this fountain outside the Aria.

To appreciate this picture of Monogram's window you need to have spent as much time staring at that orange stuffed toy as I have.

Of course there are other times when you just can't remember why you had to take that picture.
