What) This 27 foot tall Indian head statue (his 37th of 73) was carved by Peter Wolf Toth in 1980 out of Douglas Fir.

Where) At North Tourist Park at the south corner of Lincoln and North Yellowstone Avenue/ US Hwy 26.

Why) We have previously seen two of Toth's statues in Bethany Beach, Delaware and Cherokee, North Carolina. I enjoyed both of them so much that I have included five on this trip. I wonder if I will be enjoying them as much by the end of all that?

Here is the statue from the front. Now that Toth's sculptures are a theme on this trip, I have started to wonder why ...

... the plaques on the front don't have more biographical information about the famous Indians they are honoring?

I took this picture because I liked the contrast between the wooden statue and the wooden tree.

As usual my favourite views of this statue were in the details.
