What) The late Winston Bronnum designed Blowhard in 1967 to stand at the entrance to his sculpture studio Animaland.  Bronnum was largely self-taught and in his younger years he worked on hydro dams and bridges, which gave him insights that allowed him to create his large community monuments made primarily of reinforced concrete. Apparently the image of an unnamed politician flogging a dead race horse was Winston's inspiration behind this monument. Bronnum also designed the statue of Jumbo the Elephant in St. Thomas, Ontario.     Where) 114 (beside the Timberline Motor Inn and Restaurant)

Why) The official story is that I put Blowhard on the list because he was strange looking and because there was not another Buckys around for 700 kilometers.  Secretly, I was curious to see what Pam would think of this one as she always likes any paintings or sculptures that feature horses.

Although the directions above are bad, you eventually can't miss this old sign on the main highway.

Okay, here he is.

Now that you have seem him from a couple of angles, what do you suppose Pam thought?

Although I have now forgotten the answer, I did remember to get a picture of her thinking it.
