What) Our grand circa 1900 Victorian home is beautifully appointed with the elements of Southern charm, offering a retreat into olden times. Yet our accommodations are comfortable and modern. We offer two guest rooms, each with a private bath, and we will entice you downstairs each morning with a delicious breakfast to start your day of recreation or business in Washington. We call our establishment Blossoms Bed and Breakfast because blooming flowers, trees and shrubs on our grounds provide a beautiful array of colours year-round. (1)

Where) 115 North Market Street   1-252-946-5597

Why) We were playing in the Tuesday Open Pairs game in Missoula when I got to chatting with Nancy Boyd who is the owner of this place.  When I mentioned our Florida trip, she suggested visiting and gave us her card.  Initially, I wanted to take the Ocracoke ferry and visit the Outer Banks but our plans changed and we drove through Washington instead.  When we got there, we couldn't even find Blossoms.  In fact, this is the only non-grave Buckys that we have ever been unable to find.

Here is the business card that I was given.

I must have been lacking in Buckys spirit that day as... (2)

... there are apparently many crabs in Washington that I could have photographed. This one is called City Diva by Tabitha Ferrell. (3)

This is just a nice picture of the pier that I also didn't take. (4)
