What) Butterfly World is the first park of its kind in the Western Hemisphere and the largest butterfly park in the World.  Many years of research, combined with careful planning and control, have created the right conditions for thousands of butterflies to fly, court, feed and bask in the sunlight as you walk among them and enter their world.  Because most of these butterflies are bred at Butterfly World, you will also be able to witness their entire life cycle and marvel at unusual caterpillars and pupae.  We also have an aviary full of hummingbirds and flowering plants, an insectarium and the Bug Zoo with live scorpions, beetles and spiders.     Where) Tradewinds Park - South 3600 West Sample Road    Open Mon-Sat from 9am-5pm and Sun from 11am-5pm    $24.95

Why) There happened to be many “Pam” Buckys in the area so she had to pick and choose very carefully.  She was happy that we went to this one.

I found these butterflies interesting but I was not capable of ...

... taking a picture that was this nice.

About 14 years ago, when I was a garden center worker, I used to grow these seeds.  I have not seen them in a store since then until now.

In an ideal world, those seeds would grow into something similar to this Pink Powder Puff.  Ask Pam how I am doing with that.

There was something about this beetle "apartment tree" that I liked.

I'll close this section with a beautiful image from Butterfly World that I obviously didn't take. (3)
