What) The Regina Unitarian Fellowship affirms and promotes the following principles:

               -   The inherent worth and dignity of every person.
               -   Justice, equity and compassion in human relations.
               -   Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations.
               -   A free and responsible search for truth and meaning.
               -   The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process.
               -   The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.
               -   Respect for the interdependent web of all existence or which we are a part. (1)

Why) I saw the previous statement on a small sign near my apartment about 6 years ago.  It was the first religious creed I had seen that didn't contain any irritating or ridiculous statements.  So, I gave the Unitarian Center a try and I have been attending two times a month since then.  As we were going to be in San Diego on a Sunday, it seemed natural to see what another Unitarian Center was like.

There is a beautiful complex behind this modest opening but I have never felt it appropriate to take pictures inside churches.

This was the program for the service we attended.
