What) We offer more than 800 day lily varieties at the Flower Farm itself, which is nestled in beautiful Shenandoah Valley among world-renowned wineries and historic gold-mining towns, only an hour from Sacramento. A pleasant country drive will bring you to our twelve acres of gardens, including growing grounds, a potted plant area and four acres of landscaped demonstration gardens. Our nursery boasts a wonderful selection of deer resistant plants. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy our lovely picnic areas under Heritage Oak trees. In addition, our Gift Shop offers a wide variety of gardening, gift and statuary items.

    Why) Pam likes gardening and she enjoys going to greenhouses and nurseries that carry plants not available in Saskatchewan.  This sounded like a great place so we stopped in.  Pam would probably have taken pictures of some of the plants but I found myself more interested in the gift shop statues.

I liked the globe (especially in person) but the frog got in the picture.





There were lots of great frog statues at this place. (Unfortunately, neither of us thought quickly enough to purchase the weight lifting frog.)







Okay, we joked about it enough afterwards that Pam ended up ordering the frog for me as a Christmas gift.
The stuffed toy above it is a previous gift from Pam.  I combined them both into a display that I have titled, "Meditation is Hard Work."
