What) The Dyson Airblade hand dryer uses air that is forced through two continuous apertures the width of an eyelash to create sheets of air travelling at 640km/h. Water is scraped from hands in just 12 seconds making it the fastest hand dryer.  The Airblade is hygienic, purifying the air before blowing it onto hands. And because it uses up to 80% less energy than warm air hand dryers, it costs less to run. You won't find Airblade technology in any other hand dryer. (1)

Why) On a previous trip through Minot, I discovered the marvel that is the Dyson Airblade.  I have never seen one in any other location and it is the most satisfying hand drying experience I can imagine.  I actually made Pam stop at this mall (I did buy her dinner at the food court first) just so that I could dry my hands and take pictures of this machine.  There was also an Airblade in the women's room but Pam was not as impressed.

I got this image from the brochure. For some reason, it does not list the sale price. (1)

Here it is in real life.

The feeling of high velocity air jets scraping water off your hands is the best part of the experience.
